Dream House provides programs and services for medically fragile children, their biological, adoptive and foster families, as well as others in their community (DFCS case workers, teachers, neighbors, daycare staff) who are interested or involved in the life care of these children.

  • There are three unique Dream House Family for Keeps– Education and Skills Training Programs (Basic,  Advanced and Professional).
Each course provides tailored classroom instruction opportunities that teach families, caregivers and case managers how to provide safe and effective care for medically fragile children at home.
  • Dream House Family for Keeps™ – Bridging the Gap Program
Dream House acts as a liaison to help families acquire home modifications, equipment and supplies to provide safe and accessible homes for their foster, adopted or biological medically fragile children.
  • Dream House Family for Keeps™ – Transition Care Program
Medically fragile children benefit from temporary, family-centered residential care while their own family members and homes are prepared to care for them. Service offerings also include Certified Life Care Planning (CLCP), care coordination, home health care, as well as respite care (in-home and out-of-home, day time and over-night).
  • Dream House Family for Keeps™ – Advocacy Program
Strives to increase public awareness of medically fragile children, their needs, and how communities can support these children and meet these needs through collaborative efforts between government agencies, businesses, civic groups and service providers.
