We do! Dream House is a 501(c)3 non-profit children's charity. We teach families and communities how to help kids with complex health issues thrive in a home setting instead of being institutionalized for life.  We rely solely on private donations.

Did you know that in the first quarter of 2008 alone, Dream House trained and helped 98 families caring for 57 medically fragile children in Georgia? Thank you for your help!!!

Dream House welcomes what you are able to contribute – your time, goods and services, or financially. We accept financial donations online, in person or via mail.

To volunteer, please complete an online application or contact the Dream House corporate office. Ask us to present the Dream House story and opportunities to your group or organization. For more details or to speak with someone about a gift donation, please call us at 770-717-7410.

Consistent, recurring financial gifts ($30, $50, $100, $250, $500 and up) help us budget and plan the most effective use of your donation to best meet the needs of the medically fragile children, families and communities we serve via the Dream House Family for Keeps Transition Care Program.

The most frequent request we receive is for respite care. Dream House Family for Keeps™ – Respite Care Program provides families, already caring for their medically fragile children at home, with a much needed break. Ongoing needs include:

  • A $250 donation will provide one day of qualified respite care for a medically fragile child.
  • $1,750 donation will provide one week of qualified respite care so a family may take a vacation.
  • A $3,500 donation will provide two weeks of qualified respite care so a care giver may recover from surgery or loss of a loved one.

Dream House trains respite care givers. Learn more!

Dream House has an urgent need for GIFT CARDS. Why gift cards? They offer flexibility. Dream House can meet needs more quickly by providing gift cards to the families of medically fragile children we serve instead of shipping them products or supplies. Ideas for a gift card collection drive include:

  • Gift Cards from major grocery stores, general retailers, home improvement centers and gas stations.
  • Ask for card values of $10, $25 and $50.
  • Write the card value on the actual gift card.

Dream House always has a need for:

  • Disposable Diapers (children & adult sizes)
  • Diaper Wipes
  • Formula
  • Tide Free brand liquid detergent
  • Discovery® Toys (new only, please)
  • Cash donations to fund programs and related services

Please bring all donations to the Dream House corporate office in Snellville or call us today, 770-717-7410.

Medical technology now saves children who could not otherwise survive. Dream House wants these children to do more than survive - we want them to thrive with a forever home and family for keeps!

More than 100 students at Wesleyan School in Norcross, Ga. helped paint an original composition, "Helping Hands Make Giving Hearts" auctioned for $6,000 to kick-off the Dream House campaign Kids Helping Kids: Survive to Thrive.

Dream House relies on financial contributions to cover daily direct care costs for children residing in the Lilburn Transition Care Home

For each child in the Home, Dream House needs 100 people to donate $30 each month. This will provide $3,000 per child, per month so we may provide the food, clothing, health care and home environment these precious children need to stabilize their health conditions.
